The Tech Team is the hands-on helper for FHSS Computing Services, the first responders for all day-to-day troubles with your computer. We install and move computers, show up when your monitor won't turn on or you can't get an app to work, and saddest of all we'll be there when you can't print something (and we cry together). No matter what computer issue comes your way, we will be there to help you get back to what matters most.
Since you'll probably see "The Techs" more than anyone else at Computing Services, allow me to introduce the team!
Conner Hibbert – From Layton, Utah, and fresh off a mission in Bolivia, Conner is now readying himself for BYU’s cybersecurity program. When he isn’t studying, you can find him at the piano, out on a bike ride, or bringing friends together for a board-game night.
Gérson Holthausen – Born in Brazil, raised in Utah. By day he’s working toward accounting; by evening he’s running the grill. He’s a big Formula 1 fan—he just keeps the racing to video highlights and off the freeway.
Markus Walker – Six countries on his "citizen of the world" résumé and counting. Markus is an Information Systems major with plans to complete the MISM program with an emphasis in cybersecurity. He loves a good book, a new culture, and any excuse to plan the next trip.
Jacob Lee – Entrepreneurial management student who balances jiujitsu mats, bass-guitar riffs, and a steady reading list all while building his AV production experience. Jacob served missions in Salt Lake City South and Tahiti Papeete, so he’s got a story (and maybe a greeting) for almost any crowd.
Shawn Hulme – Bay-Area born, served the Lord in Panama, now chipping away at a CS degree at BYU. Snow days mean skiing, dry days mean climbing, and the in between is for coding and a chill life.
Hunter Potter – Salem, Oregon native who loves cars, the outdoors, and time with friends and family. After a mission in Brazil Fortaleza East, he is planning on BYU’s Information Systems program. Always up for a drive or to take in some good nature.
Nathan Hacking – Born in Utah, raised around the San Francisco Bay, and back in Provo after serving in Orlando. Nathan’s a reader, country-swing dancer, and camper planning to study cybersecurity.
