Alden brings a wealth of professional experience and technical depth to the team, providing a much-needed anchor of stability and mentorship for student engineers. As senior developer, Alden will play a pivotal role in guiding the technical direction of CFHG projects, mentoring junior developers, and helping ensure that our software solutions are both robust and scalable.

“We’re thrilled to have Alden join the team,” said Duncan Morais - FHSS Web Manager. “Our students are bright, creative, and eager to learn, and Alden’s presence will help elevate their work even further. His experience will also allow us to take on more complex projects and deliver higher-impact tools in support of our mission.”

The CFHG development team supports various digital tools that assist genealogical researchers, students, and volunteers in discovering, preserving, and connecting family histories. With Alden now at the helm of the team’s technical efforts, the team is well-positioned to accelerate development on key initiatives and improve long-term project sustainability.

This strategic hire reflects the center’s ongoing commitment to providing high-quality educational experiences for students while also delivering innovative, meaningful tools to the broader genealogy and academic communities.

Please join us in welcoming Alden Transfiguracion to the CFHG family!
